It is encouraging to see how our vocational students are now learning skills to cook. Making crunchy eggplant treats was fun for them. They developed some fine motor skills, learnt to follow directions, and had independent turns to complete the step-by-step procedure on their own while making it. Working with peers in this task would improve their social and functional communication abilities.
